The Mission of OppNexus is to help communities across the country realize the potential of their Opportunity Zones as catalysts for positive social and economic change. Based in the Midwest, we realized early on that the Opportunity Zone program has the potential to bring beneficial investment to communities, but the main challenge will be connecting capital to the 8,700 Opportunity Zones spread across the Country. We believe that cities and towns across America are teeming with local leaders, budding entrepreneurs, and potential projects that are ready to leverage Opportunity Zones to benefit their communities. We launched OppNexus to help them do that by providing a free, easy-to-use online platform that connects Opportunity Zone communities, projects, and investors.
